Demand Sales Manager - Comcast Advertising
Job Summary
Responsible for prospecting, selling, developing and expanding the client base for Advanced Media. Drives new and incremental revenue and regularly meets pre-established activity and results quotas. Core Responsibilities
- Book of business – Own and grow an assigned portfolio of agencies (within a holding group) and/or advertisers; deliver quarterly and annual revenue targets.
- Strong field presence – Spend most of your time with clients: regular face-to-face meetings with traders, planners, programmatic teams, investment directors and advertiser marketing teams; run workshops, trainings and client events.
- Account planning – Map each account (decision-makers, buying processes, budgets, competitors), build an account plan and lead the annual negotiation and partnership discussions with your agencies and advertisers.
- New business – Proactively prospect new advertisers and agency teams, and go beyond the agency to engage brands directly with tailored proposals.
- Proposals & briefs – Answer RFPs and briefs with customised proposals, working with sales planning, programmatic, ad operations, marketing and insights teams.
- Programmatic & deal execution – Set up and follow PMP / programmatic guaranteed / IO deals with agency trading desks and DSPs; anticipate and resolve delivery issues with internal teams.
- Maintains up-to-date customer and prospect records as instructed and participates in development of sales forecasts.
- Weekly reporting – Deliver a reliable weekly forecast and contribute to weekly reporting to the French and international leadership.
- Completes required documentation and reporting for the proper processing of contracts, advertising schedules and call expense reports.
- Market intelligence – Share feedback on the market, competitors and client needs to shape our products, pricing and partnerships.
- International collaboration – Work with colleagues across markets and agency pods on cross-border and multi-market opportunities.
- Sales travel within France and Europe when needed.
- Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
Required Skills & Experience
- More than 5 years of media sales experience in an ad sales house (régie), publisher, ad tech or video platform – ideally in TV, CTV or online video. Agency-side trading/investment profiles with a strong commercial appetite will also be considered.
- Proven track record of owning a book of business and consistently meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
- An established network within at least one major holding group (Publicis Media, Havas Media Network, Omnicom Media, WPP Media, Dentsu) and/or with advertiser marketing and media teams in France.
- A field-driven, hands-on approach: comfortable building relationships from trader to C-level, and running a high, consistent level of client meetings.
- Solid understanding of the French media buying ecosystem: annual negotiations, the Sapin law framework, TV and digital video buying, CTV.
- Good knowledge of the programmatic ecosystem: DSPs, SSPs, ad serving, PMP and programmatic guaranteed deals.
- Strong organisation and CRM discipline; able to manage a pipeline and forecast accurately.
- Excellent presentation, negotiation and storytelling skills.
- Fluent French and professional English (internal reporting and international meetings are in English).

Education
Bachelor's Degree
While possessing the stated degree is preferred, Comcast also may consider applicants who hold some combination of coursework and experience, or who have extensive related professional experience.
