Sr. Manager, Sales Marketing (Demand)
Job Summary
FreeWheel is seeking a dynamic Senior Manager, Sales Marketing – Demand to spearhead the marketing strategy and execution for our demand-facing technologies and solutions. Based in New York City, this role will be focused on FreeWheel’s Sales Marketing efforts with advertisers and agencies (HoldCos and Independents) . The ultimate goal is to accelerate the adoption of FreeWheel's end-to-end buy side technology. As the Senior Manager, Sales Marketing - Demand, you will drive commercial activation across FreeWheel’s demand facing tech and solutions by developing and activating marketing strategy and execution. Responsibilities include: sales enablement; competitive positioning; client engagement; development of data to support sales efforts; customer segmentation; and client education. This role is designed to be a critical function for company growth and will need to combine advertising industry experience with ad tech and programmatic industry know-how while having a strong commercial and marketing sense. The role will partner across the organization, working with our sales, product, partnerships, and broader marketing teams to put in place programs, strategies, and materials that will tell our story to the market and our customers. The role will require urgency and action in a fast-paced environment, while having the steady professional presence necessary at FreeWheel. Core Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive sales marketing strategies in partnership with Marketing and Revenue leadership, targeting Agencies and Brands to drive sustained commercial growth.
- Ensure strong execution of commercial growth initiatives by partnering closely with leadership to align priorities, timelines, and outcomes
- Shape market-facing positioning and messaging by collaborating with cross functionally to clearly articulate the value of our programmatic solutions and demand technologies across channels and campaigns.
- Define and execute integrated go-to-market strategies in collaboration with Sales, Product, Brand Marketing, and cross-functional stakeholders to reinforce market leadership and shift perceptions where needed.
- Lead demand-generation efforts, including content strategy, digital campaigns, and thought leadership initiatives, to acquire new demand-side clients and accelerate incremental growth from existing customers.
- Leverage data-driven insights to optimize go-to-market strategies, improve sales effectiveness, and ensure consistent, differentiated brand messaging.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, innovations, and competitive offerings in the adtech and programmatic space.
- Design and scale client engagement programs that deepen relationships with key accounts and support long-term revenue growth.
- Monitor key performance metrics (revenue, client growth, retention) to ensure team and organizational goals are met.
- Generate industry intelligence (client and competitive) with a focus onthe messaging, trends, rebuttals, FAQs, etc.
Desired Qualifications
- 6-8+ years of experience in sales/marketing, with a focus on demand-side ad tech or programmatic advertising for agency clients
- Strong understanding of the programmatic advertising ecosystem, including DSPs, SSPs, ad exchanges, and trading desks.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to translate industry trends into actionable marketing strategies.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and thrive under pressure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to leadtrainings/presentations
- Ability to simplify complex ideas for general understanding
- Ability to prioritize and focus on the projects that will have the biggest revenue impact
- Team oriented with a growth mindset and the ability to collaborate well cross functionally
- A passion for advertising and media – and where it is going next in the AI era

Salary:
Primary Location Pay Range: $127,511.41 - $191,267.12
Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay within this range, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience. The application window is 30 days from the date job is posted, unless the number of applicants requires it to close sooner or later.
Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Comcast provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work. Most sales positions are eligible for a Commission under the terms of an applicable plan, while most non-sales positions are eligible for a Bonus.
