We help brands connect with their audiences on every screen using advanced data, technology, and premium video content. Our media sales division helps local, regional, and national brands reach potential customers through multiscreen TV advertising. Our ad tech division FreeWheel provides comprehensive adtech that makes it easier to buy and sell premium video advertising across all screens, data types, and sales channels.

Job Summary

FreeWheel is seeking a dynamic Specialist, Sales Marketing to help us develop and execute our marketing initiatives to drive programmatic activation across our tech portfolio. Based in New York City, you will drive growth within our premium video ecosystem by developing targeted strategies for publishers, agencies, advertisers, and technology partners. Responsibilities include: sales enablement, competitive positioning, client engagement, and development of data to support sales efforts. This individual will partner with revenue teams and other internal stakeholders to work towards key business goals. They will implement assigned projects, delegate tasks, and provide leadership within their area of influence, working with moderate guidance. This role will be a contributor to company growth and will need to combine a passion for the advertising and ad tech industry while having a strong commercial and marketing instinct. The role will collaborate across the organization, working with our sales, product, partnerships, and broader marketing teams to put in place programs, strategies, and materials that will tell our story to the market and our customers. The role will require urgency and action in a fast-paced environment, while having the steady professional presence necessary at FreeWheel. Above all else, the candidate will need to be a strong team player who can work through complexity to get the job done.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities

  • With Marketing and Revenue leadership, develop and execute marketing strategies that drive commercial activation across FreeWheel’s ad tech portfolio.
  • Contribute to a team of marketing professionals to meet and exceed marketing goals.
  • Manage internal team communication and organizational tools to maximize team productivity
  • Partner with the larger marketing team to craft messaging and campaigns that position our programmatic solutions effectively in the market.
  • Execute content development, digital campaigns, and thought leadership initiatives to drive incremental programmatic activity.
  • Leverage data-driven insights to optimize go-to-market strategies, improve sales performance, and ensure consistent brand messaging.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, innovations, and competitive offerings in the programmatic space.
  • Help monitor key performance metrics (revenue, client growth, commercial activity, client engagement) to ensure team and organizational goals are met.
  • Generate industry intelligence (client and competitive), focusing on the messaging, trends, rebuttals, FAQs, etc. 

Desired Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years of experience in sales/marketing, preferably with a focus on video advertising or ad tech.
  • General understanding of the digital advertising ecosystem, including CTV and programmatic preferred.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently
  • Experience producing dynamic, audience-specific materials that support sales initiatives, drive engagement, and enhance conversion.
  • Skilled at integrating data visualization and multimedia elements to elevate the impact of marketing collateral.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to lead trainings/presentations. 
  • A passion for advertising and media – and where it is going next. 
  • Operate with a “We over Me” mentality to win as a team.

Salary:

Primary Location Pay Range: $75,335.04 - $113,002.56

Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay within this range, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience. The application window is 30 days from the date job is posted, unless the number of applicants requires it to close sooner or later.



Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Comcast provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work. Most sales positions are eligible for a Commission under the terms of an applicable plan, while most non-sales positions are eligible for a Bonus. Bachelor's Degree

While possessing the stated degree is preferred, Comcast also may consider applicants who hold some combination of coursework and experience, or who have extensive related professional experience.
