Job Summary

The Manager, Human Resources Strategic Initiatives will be responsible for driving the strategy and execution of key initiatives for several business groups within Comcast Advertising from a people care perspective. They will work cross functionally with HR Business Partners, HR COEs and the business to address current challenges and build procedures to drive efficiencies to support the employee experience and align on HR and business priorities. They will also provide support to HR Business partners when it comes to executing on employee lifecycle processes and serve as a subject matter expert in systems and reporting. Ideal candidates should have a strategic mindset, ability to navigate through ambiguity, strong analytical skills, project management, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to drive impact through data-drive insights.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities

Strategic Initiatives:

  • Drive the strategy and execution of key initiatives ensuring alignment with the organization’s operating plan.
  • Serve as the point of contact for Comcast Advertising’s Center of Excellence (COEs) when needing to conduct research with local HR to gather insights and executing on broader organization initiatives.
  • Serves as key contributor on project teams providing expertise in the use of various tools and techniques ensuring project success.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive HR best practices on key initiatives.
  • Subject matter expert on local HR processes and programs (ie: Virtual/relocation process).

HR Technology/Analytics

  • Subject matter experts for WD system and reporting.
  • Maintains and manage data in and out of systems for the business groups the team supports.
  • Utilize strong data analytical skills to track, monitor, and report progress on key initiatives.

HR Business Partner Support

  • Partners with the HR Business Partners to support planning and execution of employee lifecycle processes such as year-end performance management, compensation planning, employee satisfaction survey analysis, talent planning, and more.
  • Work closely with our Finance and Talent Acquisition partners to proactively plan for our workforce needs.
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Salary:

Primary Location Pay Range: $117,992.24 - $176,988.37

Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay within this range, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience. The application window is 30 days from the date job is posted, unless the number of applicants requires it to close sooner or later.



Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Comcast provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work. Most sales positions are eligible for a Commission under the terms of an applicable plan, while most non-sales positions are eligible for a Bonus. Education

Bachelor's Degree

While possessing the stated degree is preferred, Comcast also may consider applicants who hold some combination of coursework and experience, or who have extensive related professional experience.
