Job Summary

As a Lead UX Researcher, you will drive high-impact, mixed-method research initiatives that inform product strategy and elevate user experience across FreeWheel’s core platforms. You’ll collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to shape research roadmaps, uncover deep user insights, and ensure product decisions are grounded in evidence. In this role, you’ll also mentor other researchers and contribute to scaling research practices across the organization.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities

  • Research Leadership — Lead strategic research initiatives within a product area to drive clarity, alignment, and user-centered decision-making.
  • Stakeholder Influence — Communicate research findings clearly and persuasively to senior stakeholders, shaping product direction and priorities.
  • Methods & Execution — Design and conduct studies using a range of qualitative and quantitative methods tailored to business and user needs.
  • Cross-Functional Impact — Partner with Product, Design, and Engineering to embed user insights throughout the product development lifecycle.
  • Practice Maturity — Mentor peers, refine research artifacts, and champion scalable, repeatable research practices across teams.


About You

  • Experience — You bring 8+ years of UX research experience, ideally in SaaS or enterprise product environments, leading both qualitative and quantitative research initiatives.
  • Methodological Range — You are skilled in usability testing, interviews, surveys, and basic statistical interpretation, with a strong grasp of when and how to apply each method.
  • Communication — You confidently present research insights to senior product leaders and cross-functional teams, translating findings into actionable recommendations.
  • Team Collaboration — You thrive in agile environments, guiding research work and influencing product decisions through evidence-based insights.
  • Research Operations — You have built scalable research frameworks, including study templates, insight libraries, and team-level processes that improve efficiency and consistency.
  • Mentorship — You are passionate about helping others grow, offering coaching and thoughtful feedback to elevate team capabilities.
  • Portfolio — You can share case studies that demonstrate how your research has shaped product strategy and improved user outcomes.
  • Education — You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Anthropology, Sociology, or a related field.
  • Bonus — You have experience in ad tech or media platforms, bringing valuable domain knowledge to the team.

Salary:

Primary Location Pay Range: $133,932.61 - $200,898.91

Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay within this range, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience. The application window is 30 days from the date job is posted, unless the number of applicants requires it to close sooner or later.



Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Comcast provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work. Most sales positions are eligible for a Commission under the terms of an applicable plan, while most non-sales positions are eligible for a Bonus.
