Job Summary
Responsible for managing complex projects through entire project lifecycle (inception, design, development, integration and test, trial and deployment). Act as a liaison with appropriate company personnel and vendors to ensure project compliance to standards, coordinate multiple complex high priority tasks. Assure feature and functionality and performance metrics requirements are defined. Initiate, facilitate and monitor specific inter/intra-departmental project progress and performance to assure quality and on time delivery. Ensure milestone dates are met. Monitor risks during various stages of the project and escalate issues to the appropriate level of management. Maintain project status reports on projects. Create and manage contingency plans for projects. Estimate and manage budgets. Evaluate impact change request against communicated timelines. Integrates knowledge of business and functional priorities. Acts as a key contributor in a complex and crucial environment. May lead teams or projects and shares expertise.Job Description

The NEXUS PMO is seeking a Senior Technical Program/Project Manager to play a key leadership role within our team. This position will lead complex, high‑visibility, and cross‑functional initiatives that directly support Comcast’s network modernization, resiliency, and program delivery objectives. This person will serve as a strategic partner to engineering, product, architecture, and leadership teams ensuring alignment, clarity, and execution across large, multi‑team programs.
This individual will also help shape and mature our delivery practices, coach other PMO team members, and represent the PMO in executive‑level discussions.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead end‑to‑end delivery of large‑scale, cross‑functional technical programs from inception through completion.
- Drive program strategy, structure, governance, and reporting for high‑impact initiatives.
- Partner with engineering to define scope, sequencing, and technical approaches.
- Facilitate program‑level dependency management, risk mitigation, and escalation workflows.
- Build strong, trusted relationships across engineering, network operations, product, and tooling teams.
- Organize and lead cross‑functional working sessions to ensure alignment, clarify requirements, and remove blockers.
- Translate business and user needs into actionable delivery plans and technical requirements.
- Lead prioritization and backlog planning sessions with cross‑functional partners and senior leaders.
- Develop and manage integrated project plans, delivery timelines, and critical path analysis.
- Ensure alignment with the Architecture Review Board (ARB), or any required governance processes.
- Provide clear, concise, and proactive communication tailored to all audiences, including senior leadership.
- Prepare and deliver executive‑level program updates, dashboards, and readouts.
- Ensure all stakeholders understand status, decisions, risks, tradeoffs, and mitigation plans.
- Serve as a senior within the PMO, helping establish best practices, delivery standards, and operating mechanisms.
- Mentor TPM3s and TPM2s, providing coaching on planning, communication, and stakeholder management.
- Model strong leadership behaviors, accountability, and collaboration.
Skills & Requirements We’re Looking For:
- 8+ years of progressive experience in technical program or project management, ideally within telecom, networking, or infrastructure.
- Proven success leading complex, multi‑team programs with significant business impact and multiple interdependencies.
- Strong ability to turn ambiguous or evolving requirements into clear, structured delivery plans.
- Exceptional communication, facilitation, prioritization, and conflict‑resolution skills.
- Demonstrated ability to influence across organizational boundaries and drive alignment without formal authority.
- Experience guiding teams through change, new processes, and evolving operating models in fast‑paced environments.
- Background in distributed access architectures, network transformation, or large‑scale telecom infrastructure delivery.
- Experience serving as a product owner/partner for internal tooling or platform enhancements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field (Master’s preferred).
- Relevant certifications such as PMP, SAFe, Agile, or Program Management.
Desired Tools & Technologies:
- Project tools: MS Teams, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, Visio, Confluence, Smartsheet’s
- Portfolio & workflow tools: Century, Modular Workflow, Bom Tool, CCOM, CIFA/Oracle
- Network infrastructure tools: Blue Planet/Don River, dcTrack, FileMaker, CLIPS
- Familiarity with automation, orchestration, or network transformation tooling is a plus

- Confident communicator with the ability to tailor messages to technical and executive stakeholders.
- Collaborative, and comfortable driving alignment across diverse teams.

Salary:
Primary Location Pay Range: $117,950.19 - $176,925.29
Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay within this range, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience. The application window is 30 days from the date job is posted, unless the number of applicants requires it to close sooner or later.
