Job Summary

This job is responsible for comprehensive network site planning and the management of equipment deployment. It involves provisioning and support across residential and commercial networks. The role addresses network incidents and leads resolution efforts.

Job Description

The Technology + Product organization works at the intersection of media and technology and our innovative teams are continually developing and delivering products and next-generation technologies that transform the customer experience.

What You’ll Do:

  • Deep understanding of large‑scale carrier, backbone, and next‑generation network architectures and operational environments.
  • Designing, developing, and maintaining Python‑based automation to improve the efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of network auditing and deployment processes.
  • Developing and supporting large‑scale release management platforms to audit, validate, and deploy configuration changes across tens of thousands of multi‑vendor network devices.
  • Integrating data from multiple sources—including network telemetry, audits, and configuration templates—to deliver actionable operational insights.
  • Building and maintaining dashboards and monitoring solutions to track network health, compliance, and migration readiness across legacy and next‑generation networks.
  • Designing and implementing AI‑assisted tools to support internal engineering teams and enhance software development lifecycle workflows.
  • Executing mass configuration deployments and audits across heterogeneous network environments while ensuring safety, compliance, and minimal customer impact.
  • Developing automated frameworks for large‑scale data validation, anomaly detection, and compliance tracking within network operations.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, Data Science, or a related engineering or technical discipline.
  • Good proficiency in Python for automation, data processing, and system integration in production environments.
  • Hands‑on experience with DevOps and cloud‑native practices, including container orchestration and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong database and data management skills, including SQL‑based and NoSQL technologies.
  • Experience with data visualization and monitoring platforms to present complex technical data clearly and effectively.
  • Proficiency in network configuration management and automation across multi‑vendor network environments.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across engineering, operations, and cross‑functional teams.

Salary:

Primary Location Pay Range: $92,636.96 - $138,955.44

Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay within this range, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience. The application window is 30 days from the date job is posted, unless the number of applicants requires it to close sooner or later.
