Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and hands-on Facilities Supervisor to lead the day-to-day operations of 100+ diverse (Headends, Field Fulfillment Offices, Retail Stores, etc.) leased and owned facilities across northern California occupying 500,000+ sqft. In this pivotal role, you will oversee building maintenance, workplace safety, space planning, and vendor management to ensure a secure, efficient, and inspiring environment for our teams. You’ll manage a team of internal staff and external contractors, driving excellence in facility upkeep, repair, and improvement projects. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker with a passion for operational excellence and a knack for solving problems before they arise. Here's what you will be doing in this role: • Lead and coordinate all aspects of facility operations, including maintenance, security, and space utilization. • Supervise and develop a team of facilities personnel and contractors, ensuring high performance and accountability. • Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and service providers to ensure timely and cost-effective solutions. • Oversee facility improvement projects from planning through execution, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations. • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies, fostering a culture of safety and reliability. • Monitor and manage budgets related to facilities operations and capital improvements.Job Description
Core Responsibilities
Technical Expertise in Building Systems - Demonstrates advanced knowledge and hands-on experience with HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, and Building Management Systems (BMS), ensuring optimal performance and troubleshooting capabilities.
Workforce Delegation and Leadership - Develops and implements structured systems for delegating tasks, monitoring progress, and evaluating outcomes to ensure efficient team operations and accountability.
Emergency and On-Call Response - Participates in rotational on-call duties, responding to facilities-related emergencies within 30 minutes, and may provide coverage for additional properties as needed.
Physical Requirements and Safety Readiness - Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing physically demanding tasks such as walking, standing, bending, climbing ladders, and working in various environmental conditions.
Adaptability and Schedule Flexibility - Demonstrates flexibility in adapting to shifting priorities and deadlines, including availability for overtime and weekend work when required.
Technology and Communication Proficiency - Utilizes Microsoft Office and other digital tools to support facilities operations, and ensures timely, clear communication with team members regarding work orders and project updates.
Sustainability and Energy Efficiency Initiatives - Leads efforts to reduce energy consumption and environmental impact by implementing sustainable practices, monitoring utility usage, and identifying opportunities for green building improvements.
Data-Driven Facilities Management - Leverages Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and analytics tools to track asset performance, optimize preventive maintenance schedules, and support data-informed decision-making.
Vendor and Contract Performance Management - Establishes performance metrics and conducts regular evaluations of third-party vendors and contractors to ensure service quality, compliance, and cost-effectiveness.
Plans and executes changes to facilities to include furniture installation, office rearrangements, electrical additions and other changes based on business needs.
Ensures the maintenance of and continued operation of mechanical systems such as HVAC systems, refrigeration, fans, generators, electrical switch gear and UPS systems.
Assists in department budget preparation for space utilization, standard office furniture, capital and leasehold items, time and material maintenance and equipment maintenance. Monitors budget variances.
Schedules and assigns work of administrative support. Monitors production activities and adjusts workload when necessary to insure that deadlines are met.
Ensures that buildings are in compliance with Company & OSHA checklists.
Ensures that buildings are secure, clean and properly maintained.
Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.

Salary:
Primary Location Pay Range: $89,853.60 - $134,780.40
Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay within this range, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience. The application window is 30 days from the date job is posted, unless the number of applicants requires it to close sooner or later.
Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Comcast provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work. Most sales positions are eligible for a Commission under the terms of an applicable plan, while most non-sales positions are eligible for a Bonus. Bachelor's Degree
While possessing the stated degree is preferred, Comcast also may consider applicants who hold some combination of coursework and experience, or who have extensive related professional experience.
