Job Summary
The Senior Manager, Editorial will be a key member of the Xumo Play Editorial team, as we continue to revolutionize streaming and build a world-class, free content offering for millions of viewers. In this role you will help develop, execute, and drive content merchandising and editorial curation, partnering with teams across Content Operations, Product, Content Partnerships, Marketing and Data Analytics, to deliver best-in-class editorial. Success in the role will require the ability to intelligently evaluate data and make decisions based on those insights. In addition, you will need sound editorial judgement developed through working with video content services and being an avid consumer of film and TV. Ideal candidates are strongly analytical, innovative, and creative problem solvers, with excellent project management, interpersonal and communication skills. This role will also contribute meaningfully to our overall strategy and roadmap--including the development of new concepts in merchandising, product features, and tooling.Job Description

What You’ll Do:
- Develop and execute repeatable, scalable editorial strategies that excite and engage users.
- Effectively pitch monthly editorial priorities through creative storytelling to maximize earned opportunities on Xumo Play’s distribution platforms.
- Optimize the user experience based on evaluation of data and strong editorial judgement.
- Partner with analytics to measure, test and optimize new curation concepts and merchandising strategies.
- Analyze and communicate performance and learnings to key stakeholders.
- Partner with ad sales to create sponsorship opportunities around editorial executions.
What You’ve Done:
- Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
- 6+ years of content merchandising/editorial experience.
- Proficient in content analytics and able to make data-driven decisions that have actionable results.
- Understanding of video streaming business models (AVOD) and content consumption formats (VOD, Linear, Short/Long Form, etc.).
- In-depth experience working with content publishing tools (CMS).
- Eye for visual language and content merchandising strategies.
- Demonstrated strong time-management, prioritization, and organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines and partner timeline expectations.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to cultivate relationships and negotiate with internal clients.
- Thrives within a fast-paced, digital/tech environment.
- Approaches challenges with an organized, adaptable, and positive attitude.
- Highly organized with a demonstrated proficiency in verbal and written communication.
- Strategic insight into the current and future direction of content and consumption trends.

Salary:
Primary Location Pay Range: $120,444.19 - $180,666.29
Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay within this range, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience. The application window is 30 days from the date job is posted, unless the number of applicants requires it to close sooner or later.
Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Comcast provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work. Most sales positions are eligible for a Commission under the terms of an applicable plan, while most non-sales positions are eligible for a Bonus.
