Job Summary
Responsible for the planning, execution and troubleshooting of a continuous flow of content for either Xumo Play and all Enterprise endpoints. Creates new concepts. Enhances content and services. Accountable for content quality and traffic of incoming assets and feeds from content providers. Serves as a subject matter expert for particular verticals within the site and/or platform sections. Has accountability for managing onboarding team. Provides subject matter guidance to external and internal partners. - As a Senior Manager this role will require taking initiative to problem solve, take ownership & bringing ideas to the greater content operations team as Xumo continues to expand. This role will manage a team, along with being a hands on content operations expert.
- Experience within the streaming/FAST industry highly preferred.
- A team player with a strong sense of ownership and a proactive, problem-solving mindset is critical to be successful in the role.
- Position is office based in Irvine, CA or Philadelphia, PA- 4 days a week in office/1 day remote.
Core Responsibilities
- Manages and monitors the development and implementation of content programs with major partners in entertainment with the goal of significantly increasing the quailty and depth of content.
- Identifies and evaluates business opportunities and targets key event programming to drive differentiation.
- Monitors staff on best practices for onboarding of content per Xumo technical specifications for MRSS feeds, XML feeds, HLS feeds and XMLTV feeds.
- Enhances programming by ensuring all proper metadata is provided timely to meet target launch dates.
- Provides training, guidance, and feedback to implement best practices in onboarding strategies, tooling and troubleshooting.
- Manages partner promotions, content tracking, channel and platform launches and cross-platform programs with other divisions.
- Coordinates with marketing and creative teams to align content goals and ensures smooth and timely implementation of content programs.
- Knowledgeable about movies and TV shows (across genres), with a general interest in the pop culture and media/streaming industries.
- Willing to get “into the weeds” with content, metadata, and delivery issues to help fix problems as they occur.
- Meticulous attention to detail for content programming and escalations to satisfy partner requests.
- Overall mind for organization and project management to keep multiple tasks on schedule at the same time.
- Mindful regarding scheduling timelines and due dates simultaneously across multiple partners.
- Creative mindset to come up with new and improved programming strategies.
- Ability to discern learnings from data to apply to programming strategies.
- Excellent, timely communicator with various external partners and internal stakeholders.
- Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.

Salary:
Primary Location Pay Range: $120,444.19 - $180,666.29
Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay within this range, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience. The application window is 30 days from the date job is posted, unless the number of applicants requires it to close sooner or later.
Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Comcast provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work.
