Senior Analyst, Business Support & Analytics
Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative professional to support our business operations through a variety of key responsibilities. This role involves supporting the Comcast Business commission process by working inquiries and tickets in a timely manner to ensure accuracy of monthly commissions and maintaining effective communication with the sales team. The successful candidate will monitor the team processing calendar to ensure all assignments are completed by their respective deadlines. Additional duties include researching changes to commission payouts to identify and process retroactive payments, completing manual calculations for commission adjustments, and assisting in high-level escalations. The role also creates and facilitates reporting and analysis to evaluate operational initiatives and drive operational efficiencies. It involves developing and maintaining standard reporting measures, providing quantitative explanations of relevant data, and conducting ongoing analysis of alternatives and solutions. This position serves as a resource for colleagues with less experience or subject matter knowledge, providing guidance and support to foster team development and operational excellence.Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Research Comcast Business commission inquiries and support tickets within established timeframes.
- Communicate effectively with the sales team to resolve issues and provide updates.
- Monitor team processing calendar to ensure timely completion of assignments.
- Research and process retroactive commission payouts.
- Perform manual calculations for commission adjustments.
- Assist in resolving high-level escalations.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure data integrity.
- Identify issues, analyze available data and information, and recommend changes to management.
- Provide analysis prior to and following any recommended changes.
- Create and maintain compliance reports that identify discrepancies within the company's billing systems.
- Provide user feedback to management and help influence future systems enhancements.
- Ensure accuracy of data through partnerships with team members; provide day-to-day validation and spot checks.
- Prepare reports to be used by other departments to correct billing issues.
- Provide weekly, monthly, and annual reports; deliver special reports and analyses to support the business as necessary.
- Support efforts to maintain accurate master data; extract and analyze master and transactional data.
- Provide support and mentorship to less experienced team members.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Consistently exercise independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
- Maintain regular, consistent, and punctual attendance; must be able to work nights, weekends, variable schedules, and overtime as necessary.

Salary:
Pay Range: This job can be performed in Illinois with a Pay Range of $66,474.40 - $110,207.56
Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay within this range, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience. The application window is 30 days from the date job is posted, unless the number of applicants requires it to close sooner or later.
Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Comcast provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work. Most sales positions are eligible for a Commission under the terms of an applicable plan, while most non-sales positions are eligible for a Bonus. Bachelor's Degree
While possessing the stated degree is preferred, Comcast also may consider applicants who hold some combination of coursework and experience, or who have extensive related professional experience.
