Job Summary

The Sr. Analyst, Audience Design & Delivery is responsible for the development, execution, validation, and performance analysis of customer acquisition, retention, and subscriber direct mail campaigns. This role partners across Marketing, Strategy, Operations, Analytics, Vendors, and Product teams to design audience targeting solutions, ensure campaign accuracy, manage campaign execution, and provide performance insights that drive business results. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical capabilities, direct marketing experience, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. This role is also responsible for ensuring all audience targeting, campaign execution, and reporting activities comply with company data governance, privacy, and information security requirements.

Job Description

Primary Responsibilities

Audience Strategy & Campaign Execution

  • Execute and maintain subscriber and trigger-based direct mail campaigns, including onboarding, retention, and downgrade mitigation initiatives.
  • Develop and deploy audience selections and targeting logic within Adobe Campaign and supporting platforms.
  • Manage campaign updates, enhancements, and ongoing maintenance activities.
  • Support campaign builds, testing, deployment, and validation processes.
  • Ensure campaign deliverables are executed accurately and on schedule.

Targeting & Quality Assurance

  • Validate campaign audiences, counts, segmentation logic, and workflow outputs.
  • Conduct quality assurance reviews to ensure audience selections align with business requirements.
  • Investigate and resolve data quality issues impacting targeting or mailability.
  • Partner with technical teams to troubleshoot campaign execution and data integrity concerns.
  • Perform pre- and post-deployment validations to ensure campaign accuracy and compliance with business requirements.

Data Governance & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with all company data privacy, security, and governance policies, including the appropriate handling, storage, and use of Sensitive Personal Information (SPI) and customer data.
  • Adhere to regulatory requirements and internal controls governing audience selection, campaign execution, data access, and information sharing.
  • Support audits, data governance reviews, and documentation requests related to campaign targeting and audience management activities.

Vendor & Operational Management

  • Support vendor count approvals and production readiness activities.
  • Serve as a liaison between internal stakeholders and external direct mail vendors.
  • Maintain campaign documentation, count tracking, and operational processes.
  • Monitor campaign health and identify opportunities for process improvements.
  • Coordinate campaign deliverables and production timelines to ensure successful execution.

Analytics & Reporting

  • Build and maintain campaign performance dashboards and reporting tools.
  • Analyze campaign results and communicate performance insights to stakeholders.
  • Deliver recurring readouts, executive summaries, and recommendations.
  • Conduct test-and-learn analyses to support audience optimization and business decisions.
  • Evaluate targeting strategies and identify opportunities to improve response rates and ROI.
  • Develop actionable recommendations based on performance data and audience behavior insights.

Campaign Innovation & Optimization

  • Support model testing, segmentation enhancements, and audience experimentation.
  • Recommend audience and campaign improvements based on performance insights.
  • Develop documentation for new targeting methodologies and campaign processes.
  • Contribute to the evolution of direct mail best practices across the organization.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline campaign execution and improve operational efficiencies.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Marketing Strategy, Product, Analytics, Operations, Data Governance, and Vendor Management teams.
  • Participate in planning meetings and project discussions.
  • Present campaign findings, recommendations, and business impacts to stakeholders.
  • Support enterprise-wide initiatives related to direct mail audience strategy and execution.
  • Build strong relationships across business units to ensure alignment on campaign goals, targeting strategies, and execution requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Analytics, Statistics, Economics, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in direct marketing, database marketing, campaign operations, analytics, audience strategy, or campaign management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency.
  • Experience working with large customer datasets and audience segmentation.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred

  • Experience with Adobe Campaign (ACC).
  • Direct mail marketing experience.
  • Experience with Tableau or similar reporting and visualization tools.
  • SQL or data querying experience.
  • Experience working with customer targeting models and campaign testing methodologies.
  • Familiarity with vendor-based marketing operations and production processes.
  • Knowledge of data privacy, marketing compliance, and governance best practices.

Salary:

Colorado Pay Range: $81,627.18 - $122,440.77
