Director, Marketing Performance Optimization & Analytics
Job Summary
The Director of Marketing Performance and Analytics is responsible for leading data-driven decision-making across all marketing initiatives. This role will develop and implement marketing analytics frameworks, optimize campaign performance, and drive actionable insights to enhance marketing ROI. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Salesforce Marketing Cloud Intelligence (Datorama) or similar platforms, strong analytical skills, and the ability to translate complex data into business strategies.Job Description
Core Responsibilities
Marketing Performance & Strategy:
- Develop and lead a comprehensive marketing analytics strategy to measure and optimize the effectiveness of digital and offline marketing campaigns.
- Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and create dashboards to track marketing performance across channels, including paid media, email, web, social, and offline campaigns.
- Partner with Marketing, Sales, and Finance teams to align on reporting methodologies and data-driven strategies.
- Evaluate marketing attribution models and recommend adjustments to maximize budget efficiency and revenue impact.
Data & Analytics Leadership:
- Lead the implementation and optimization of Salesforce Marketing Cloud Intelligence (Datorama) to integrate, analyze, and visualize marketing data.
- Develop and manage automated reporting systems to streamline performance insights.
- Oversee A/B testing and experimentation frameworks to optimize marketing strategies.
- Ensure data integrity across marketing platforms and collaborate with IT and data governance teams to maintain best practices in data management.
Stakeholder Collaboration & Communication:
- Act as the bridge between marketing, sales, and finance to ensure alignment on reporting, forecasting, and business impact.
- Present insights, trends, and recommendations to senior leadership to influence marketing investment decisions.
- Provide training and guidance to marketing teams on data literacy and performance best practices.
Technology & Innovation:
- Stay ahead of emerging trends in marketing analytics, AI-driven insights, and automation tools.
- Drive adoption of new technologies and methodologies to improve marketing measurement and reporting.
- Collaborate with CRM and MarTech teams to optimize data flows and campaign execution.
Technical & Analytical Expertise:
- Proficiency in Salesforce Marketing Cloud Intelligence (Datorama) or similar platforms (Google Analytics, Tableau, Power BI).
- Strong understanding of multi-touch attribution, marketing mix modeling (MMM), and customer segmentation analysis.
- Experience working with SQL, Python, or R for data extraction and analysis is a plus.
- Expertise in A/B testing methodologies and incrementality measurement.
Business & Strategic Thinking:
- Ability to translate data insights into strategic recommendations for marketing investments.
- Strong grasp of budget planning, forecasting, and ROI measurement.
- Familiarity with paid media, CRM, email marketing, and digital campaign performance metrics.
Collaboration & Communication:
- Experience in presenting insights to C-suite executives and cross-functional teams.
- Ability to simplify complex data into clear, actionable insights.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing analytics teams or cross-functional projects.
Education & Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 10+ years of experience in marketing analytics, performance measurement, or related roles.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Datorama or other marketing intelligence platforms.
- Experience in B2B, B2C, or eCommerce marketing analytics is a plus.

Salary:
Primary Location Pay Range: $131,933.52 - $197,900.28
Additional Range: This job can be performed in New York City with a Pay Range of $119,939.56 - $215,891.22

Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Comcast provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work. Most sales positions are eligible for a Commission under the terms of an applicable plan, while most non-sales positions are eligible for a Bonus.
