Job Summary

Internship position within our RDK team in Cork.

Job Description

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

• Supporting the project team in keeping our code management facility running efficiently and continuously for a global community.
• Using appropriate tools and technologies to support our CI/CD capability in an embedded Linux environment.
• Supporting resolution of issues detected in the DevOps environment.

WHAT IS REQUIRED:

• Computer science, electronic engineering, or related discipline.
• Good scripting knowledge & familiarity using Python and Bash.
• Familiarity with DevOps, Continuous Integration
• Effective interpersonal skills  
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to work remotely for 3.5 days a week.

WHAT IS DESIRED:

• Familiarity with C and C++ development
• Interest in working in a secure and efficient DevOps environment.  
• Familiarity with Jenkins, Jira or similar tools and concepts.
• Familiarity with GitHub
• Familiarity with AWS
• Linux knowledge and experience.
• Understanding of GIT version control
