Job Description

Freewheel, a Comcast company, provides comprehensive ad platforms for publishers, advertisers, and media buyers. Powered by premium video content, robust data, and advanced technology, we’re making it easier for buyers and sellers to transact across all screens, data types, and sales channels. Responsibilities:

• Assembling footage and audio elements, ensuring synchronization and storage for seamless editing workflows

• Crafting initial edits and refining sequences for narrative coherence and smooth transition, adhering to project guidelines

• Evaluating take selections for dramatic and entertainment value to maintain story continuity and audience engagement

• Utilizing advanced editing software to cut, splice, and adjust video and audio tracks for desired storytelling impact

• Implementing creative techniques and leveraging new technologies to enhance the visual and auditory appeal of content

• Managing assigned projects with proficient editorial judgment, requiring limited guidance to achieve strategic content goals

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather project requirements and ensure final edits meet or exceed expectations

• Incorporating innovative editing methods to improve the quality and efficiency of video production processes

• Demonstrating a solid understanding of video editing principles and staying abreast of industry trends and advancements

• Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.

• Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.

Ideally, candidates should:

Have a good understanding of Video formats (mpeg, mp4, etc.) Can edit and convert incoming assets to conform to specifications required by our system and client requests using Adobe Tools (After Effects).

Correct spot length issues down to the correct frame length.
Create and send samples for client review.

Communication skills as they will be directly in contact with clients and agencies through Zendesk an internal clients live. Attention to detail, as they will be required to learn internal proprietary tools that will dictate reporting attributes tied to assets.

This role will require the individual to work in India Night Shift hours
