Job Summary
This role is an exciting opportunity to join the Enterprise Procurement organisation supporting Comcast, Sky, and NBCUniversal. As a Specialist 3 - Procurement, you will work collaboratively with stakeholders to support the development and execution of category strategies that support Comcast’s growth, efficiency, and reliability targets. The role requires strong analytical capability, ability to operate autonomously, and a willingness to learn procurement processes. Key skills for this role include supplier and category research, financial modeling, quantitative analysis, and developing negotiation fundamentals. Core Responsibilities
- Conduct supplier, market, and technology research to support category strategy development, risk assessment, and commercial decision‑making.
- Perform data analysis (e.g., spend analysis, business cases, savings tracking, vendor comparisons) and translate insights into clear, audience‑appropriate presentations.
- Develop category knowledge by understanding market and technology conditions and updating strategies to meet evolving business needs and mitigate risk.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders and key business partners.
- Prepare clear, accurate summaries and presentation materials to support communication with leadership and cross‑functional teams.
- Use Comcast procurement systems and tools to manage projects, track progress, and report results and savings.
Required Experience and Skills
- Clear communication skills, both written and oral
- Strong analytical and logical problem‑solving skills; ability to break down complex problems and make data‑driven recommendations.
- Financial and economic acumen, including the ability to gather and analyze data, and develop business cases to evaluate strategic options
- Experience supporting presentation development, with the ability to progress toward presenting independently
- Basic understanding of procurement and the impact of broader market trends on strategic decision making
- Commercial mindset and data analysis skills, including data visualization
- Demonstrated curiosity, ability to learn quickly, and comfort operating in new or ambiguous problem spaces

Bachelor's Degree
While possessing the stated degree is preferred, Comcast also may consider applicants who hold some combination of coursework and experience, or who have extensive related professional experience.
