Content Services Media Logistics:
As a senior member of Media Logistics within Content Services, you will be part of a team dedicated to fulfilling Sky's production and delivery requirements across all channels and platforms. In addition to daily operational tasks, your role involves supporting the management team to enhance the performance and efficiency of all Media Logistics disciplines and workflows. Key responsibilities include fostering a productive team environment and ensuring that professional, consistent, friendly, and solutions-focused customer service is provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Use best practices and knowledge of internal or external business demands to seek opportunities to improve our products, services and/or processes.
- To aid the consistent staff training and development required to enable Content Services to deliver successfully across the range of supported services.
- Cover department responsibilities in case of management absence and assist in maintaining training and development plans.
- Key stakeholder management – continually lead by example represent Media Logistics internally and externally when required.
- Responsible for developing and maintaining regular reporting to assist in performance management of the department.
- Proactive point of escalation and communication for team around welfare and companywide initiatives.
- Maintenance of training guides/plans for new starters.
Key Operational Responsibilities
- Manage both long-form and short-form materials within Sky's broadcast system, ensuring adherence to critical TX deadlines.
- Coordinate ordering and delivery of materials from studios and distributors.
- Manage timely distribution of all linear and on-demand content across Sky Q, Sky Glass, Sky Go, and Now TV.
- Collaborate closely with various departments across Sky, such as Planning, Scheduling, and Playout.
- When required, view diverse global content for preparation, integrity checks and/or investigation as part of troubleshooting.

Core Responsibilities
- Develops and implements content programs with major partners in entertainment, media, music, and publishing with the goal of significantly increasing the quality and depth of content on a site and/or platform in order to achieve customer satisfaction, usage, and revenu
- Assists with providing guidance to implement best practices in web writing, marketing, and content development to staff.
- Creates online and/or platform content and consistently checks for errors or issues (typos, broken links, feed lags, etc.), while ensuring deadlines are met.
- Monitors and maintains quality control of the content and daily content schedule.
- Assists with the development of content through various stages that include gathering, writing, working with editorial, client content approval, and through the production process.
- Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
- Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.

Bachelor's Degree
While possessing the stated degree is preferred, Comcast also may consider applicants who hold some combination of coursework and experience, or who have extensive related professional experience.
