Position: Scrum Master 3

Experience: 5 years to 7.5 years

Job Location: Chennai Tamil Nadu

What you’ll bring:

  • Proven experience facilitating agile delivery using Scrum or other agile frameworks
  • Strong understanding of agile principles, servant leadership, and team dynamics
  • Excellent facilitation, coaching, and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to foster collaboration and build trust across diverse teams
  • Experience with agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, Miro, and Figma
  • A proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement and delivery excellence
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels

Responsibilities:

  • Planning and facilitating standard Scrum ceremonies, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, and daily stand-ups
  • Engaging with business stakeholders to remove impediments and foster an environment conducive to team success
  • Contributing to the agile community to share knowledge and adopt best practices for Scrum teams
  • Assisting the product owner with backlog management to ensure clarity and prioritization of work items
  • Identifying and addressing blocked stories, guiding the team towards effective problem-solving strategies
  • Upholding Scrum principles and ensuring consistent application across teams in line with corporate guidelines
  • Promoting continuous process improvement through regular feedback, coaching, and retrospective sessions
  • Providing training and support to new team members on agile processes and Scrum framework
  • Monitoring team performance against sprint goals and facilitating adjustments to improve efficiency and outcomes
  • Coordinating with other Scrum Masters to ensure alignment and manage cross-team dependencies effectively
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Education

Bachelor's Degree

While possessing the stated degree is preferred, Comcast also may consider applicants who hold some combination of coursework and experience, or who have extensive related professional experience.
