Job Summary

Responsible for planning, executing and evaluating projects according to predetermined timelines and budgets. Builds and manages project teams ensuring quality control throughout the project life cycle. Accomplishes project objectives by planning and evaluating project activities. Develops financial and operational objectives. Ensures operational plans are aligned with business objectives. Contributes to functional strategy development. Has a greater degree of impact on business results and typically manages one or more groups of professional employees.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities

  • Lead, develop, coach and mentor a team of project managers, SM and Product Owners in complex technology program deliveries; with projects in the video industry (broadcasting, media, entertainment) covering implementation, system integration, customer engineering.  
  • Be at the forefront of trends and evolution of Video industry, understand, educate and implement product strategy based on market direction.
  • Serve as the program lead, responsible and accountable in the planning, and resourcing development and delivery of new and existing projects and programs.  
  • Work on CTS products/suite – cloud video platform, live linear, video AI, cloud, and transcoding
  • Interface with Customers, build new relationships and drive business and technical values
  • In collaboration with Professional Services leadership define and shape the direction and evolution of the Professional Services team.   
  • Draft, deliver & present financial plans, Professional Services proposals, Statements of Work & Change Request forms following SB&A governance standards.  
  • Support the Commercial teams in defining PS requirements and estimates for customer opportunities; and supporting the sales and pre-sales team with RFIs and RFPs.  
  • Ensure timely reporting and data hygiene across Agile teams.  
  • Identify and drive of initiatives that drive quality and consistency in the delivery of services and processes with customer experience at the forefront of thinking.  
  • Global collaboration with other regional Heads of Agile Delivery to establish and maintain global standards for Agile teams.   


Required skills and experience: 

  • Experience in People management is must.  You should have led and managed people in current or previous roles.
  • Experience in leading, interfacing and building Customer relationship is required
  • Experience in technical, project or program leadership agile delivery (and scrum) in the video (broadcasting, media, entertainment) industry is desired.
  • Experience in managing and growing a set of highly talented, high performing individuals with an ethos of continuous improvement at the core. 
  • You have a strong grasp of project/program financials, budget management, and resource management
  • You have knowledge of software development lifecycle, particularly Agile development teams. 
  • You have a successful track record in working on large cross-functional, cross-organisational transformation efforts, and engineering initiatives, and are equally as comfortable managing up as you are leading your team.   
  • Experience with SAAS technologies with large global companies as a vendor
  • You have strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations, and drive actions.  
  • Experience of working in fast paced digital environments, along with a well-rounded understanding of product and proposition development.  
  • You have an ability to use coach, influence (both formal and informal), and be consultative across matrixed organisations and levels, including but not limited to delivery team and senior management
  • You have high attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple/competing priorities simultaneously.  
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.

Bachelor's Degree

While possessing the stated degree is preferred, Comcast also may consider applicants who hold some combination of coursework and experience, or who have extensive related professional experience.
