Position: Specialist 2 - System Administration
Experience: 2.5 years to 4.5 years
Job Location: Chennai Tamil Nadu
Technical Skills: Jamf, Troubleshooting, Apple Business Manager.
Profile:
- Knowledge on Azure AD and Hybrid environments
- Experience with Apple Business Manager,
- Profound knowledge in Apple hard- and software
- Excellent knowledge in Jamf (Jamf 300 certificate or higher required)
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Experience in creating automation scripts
Job:
- Operation and further development of the Apple-based client platform with the help of Jamf
- Definition of configurations and policies for macOS operation, considering the IT security policies
- Enhance, automate, and optimize deployment and operational processes.
- Coordinate and carry out error analyses and problem solving/troubleshooting
- Supporting employees in troubleshooting macOS
- Contact person, for questions and problems concerning macOS, especially for first time users
- Provide support including incident response, reporting and advanced troubleshooting
- Coordinate settings and processes with international teams throughout Europe and beyond
- Participate in decisions regarding enterprise infrastructure, processes, and policies
- Maintaining and updating documentation
Responsibilities:
- Administering system infrastructure to ensure optimal availability, reliability, and performance
- Implementing security protocols, managing access controls, and conducting vulnerability assessments to safeguard data integrity
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams for system integration, ensuring effective communication between hardware and software
- Conducting system audits and performance tuning, documenting changes to enhance operations
- Providing technical support, addressing system issues, and escalating complex problems as necessary
- Mentoring team members, fostering technology skills development within the team
- Recommending improvements to automation systems, enhancing efficiency and effectiveness
- Managing system communications, maintenance schedules, and the overall health of the computing environment
- Reviewing system usage, optimizing resource allocation, and maintaining security and inventory controls
- Operating and maintaining auxiliary equipment, ensuring seamless support for system operations
- Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
