Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and hands-on Lead DevOps Engineer to drive the design, implementation, and optimization of secure, scalable, and automated cloud platforms. This role serves as the technical leader and anchor for DevOps and platform engineering initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in AWS cloud services, Kubernetes-based container platforms, and cybersecurity practices, and will play a key role in advancing DevSecOps maturity across enterprise platforms, including data and AI-driven applications.Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Lead the design and implementation of secure, scalable AWS cloud infrastructure.
Architect, deploy, and manage Kubernetes platforms (EKS/on-prem) for containerized workloads.
Own and drive end-to-end CI/CD strategy and implementation for applications and infrastructure.
Implement and standardize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools.
Integrate security controls, vulnerability scanning, and compliance checks into CI/CD pipelines (DevSecOps).
Strengthen cloud security posture, including IAM, secrets management, encryption, and network security.
Lead cybersecurity initiatives, including vulnerability remediation and risk mitigation using tools such as Snyk, Prisma, or similar.
Establish and enhance monitoring, observability, and alerting frameworks (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, Splunk).
Drive automation and standardization to improve deployment speed, reliability, and scalability.
Lead incident management, root cause analysis (RCA), and reliability engineering practices.
Collaborate with engineering, QA,MLOps, and security teams to improve release velocity and operational excellence.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to DevOps engineers; guide design decisions and best practices.
Act as a bridge between DevOps, security, and application teams, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards.
Support multi-cloud and hybrid environments with a focus on consistency and governance.
Required Skills & Qualifications
8–12 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering.
Strong hands-onexpertisein AWS services (EKS, EC2, S3, Lambda, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, etc.).
Deep experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration (Docker, Helm, EKS).
Provenexpertisein Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred; CloudFormation/Ansible as plus).
Strong experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps.
Solid experience implementing DevSecOpspractices and security automation.
Hands-onexpertisein cloud security, including IAM, secrets management, encryption, and network security.
Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, Splunk, CloudWatch).
Strong scripting/programming skills in Python, Bash, or similar.
Experience managing production systems, SLAs, and incident response processes.
Strong troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting AI/ML or data engineering platforms.
Knowledge of security and compliance frameworks (ISO, SOC2, NIST, etc.).
Experience in enterprise cloud transformation and modernization initiatives.
Certifications such as:
AWS Certified DevOps Engineer / Solutions Architect
Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) / CKAD
Security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CCSP) are a plus
