Job Summary
Responsible for participating as an individual contributor in project teams, troubleshooting operational issues, providing technical solutions to operational problems, new product implementation, implementing existing products and services and the overall upkeep and maintenance of designated areas of engineering. Interfaces with vendors, engineering and peer operations organizations. Acts in compliance with industry and Company technical requirements, standards, policies and procedures. Provides technical leadership to junior Engineers and project teams. Has in-depth experience, knowledge and skills in own discipline. Integrates knowledge of business and functional priorities. Acts as a key contributor in a complex and crucial environment. May lead teams or projects and shares expertise.Job Description

Job Summary:
You will work within a team of engineers to supportand developtheplatform for GlobalOperations, providingservices across thevarious streaming platforms. This involvesmaintainingand updating the codethatbuilds and supports these platforms, as well asassisting with thedeveloper teams with thedevelopment of new features and capabilities.
Additionallyyou will be expected tosupportandassistmore junior engineers and help themto developtheir capabilities within the team.
The platformruns on both AWS and GCP, with multiple teams workingin similarenvironments, but with variations between them. Providing standard methodologies across the platformto improve simplicity and reliabilityis a part of the role.

Docker, Kubernetes, Helm
Python, NodeJS, Java
RDS and other cloud database solutions
Skills & Requirements
Simple coding with terraform and ansible as our maintools.
An understanding of Linux operating systems.
Following agile methodologies
Infrastructure provisioning and management.
Assist with thedevelopment of custom software for automation, observability, or other requirements
Ensure operational documentation, wikis, and readmes are maintained
Troubleshooting and problem solving
Provide support for operations and delivery teams to remediate production issues as appropriate
Build cloud-agnostic solutions that can be quickly deployed against a wide variety of cloud computing providers

Bachelor's Degree
While possessing the stated degree is preferred, Comcast also may consider applicants who hold some combination of coursework and experience, or who have extensive related professional experience.
