Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced SharePoint Administrator to manage, maintain, and enhance our SharePoint environments (both on-premises and Microsoft 365/SharePoint Online). The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring platform stability, security, performance optimization, and user support while enabling collaboration across the organization.Job Description
Core Responsibilities
- Administer and manage SharePoint Online / SharePoint Server environments
- Perform installation, configuration, upgrades, and patching of SharePoint platforms
- Monitor system health, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability and performance
- Manage user access, permissions, and security policies in compliance with organizational standards
- Configure and maintain SharePoint farms, site collections, and web applications
- Support and manage OneDrive, Teams, and M365 integrations
- Perform backup, restore, and disaster recovery operations
- Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and implement solutions
- Manage migration activities (on-prem to cloud / tenant-to-tenant)
- Automate administrative tasks using PowerShell scripting
- Ensure governance, compliance, and best practices are followed across the SharePoint ecosystem
- Provide L2/L3 support and resolve escalated issues
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 5–8 years of experience in SharePoint Administration
- Strong expertise in:
- SharePoint Online & SharePoint 2016/2019 (if applicable)
- Microsoft 365 ecosystem (Teams, OneDrive, Exchange integration)
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for SharePoint administration
- Hands-on experience with SharePoint migration tools (e.g., ShareGate, Metalogix, etc.)
- Understanding of Active Directory, Azure AD, and identity management
- Knowledge of backup and disaster recovery strategies
- Experience in performance tuning and troubleshooting SharePoint environments
- Familiarity with ITIL processes and ticketing tools
Good to Have
- Experience with Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps)
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript for SharePoint customization
- Exposure to Azure services and cloud security best practices
- Microsoft certifications (e.g., MS-100, MS-101, or SharePoint-related certifications)

Bachelor's Degree
While possessing the stated degree is preferred, Comcast also may consider applicants who hold some combination of coursework and experience, or who have extensive related professional experience.
