Job Summary
Responsible for planning and designing new software and web applications. Analyzes, tests and assists with the integration of new applications. Oversees the documentation of all development activity. Trains non-technical personnel. Assists with tracking performance metrics. Provides guidance and support to other Engineers. Integrates knowledge of business and functional priorities. Who you Are:
You are a motivated Salesforce Technical Architect who is passionate about cloud and application architecture in Salesforce applications. You excel at executing the hands-on implementation of proposed solutions and provide technical guidance to teams during the solutions' development and deployment phases. You are a go-getter and love learning new technologies and thrive in a fast-paced environment where you can collaborate with architects and other cloud engineers to deliver infrastructure solutions and designs.
What you’ll do:
Assists various stakeholders, teams with understanding capabilities of the Salesforce platform Offerings and guide team members on technical implementation aspects. Own definition of the end-to-end solution architecture to accommodate defined business requirements. This includes defining and leading a delivery framework that ensures quality and success Manage salesforce environments and and ensure code and data continuity across environments. Mentor technical team members in requirement analysis, fit/gap assessment, design standards, and best practices. Communicate and document technical solutions and design tradeoffs effectively to Business stakeholders Engages with Enterprise Architects regarding technical architecture and details of Salesforce and integration/migration Work cross-functionally to maintain and improve upon Salesforce integrations & data integrity with different teams and systems to support overall business processes. Help establish a culture of enablement, working with other leaders in Practice, to constantly upskill the baseline knowledge of Salesforce capabilities You enjoy the definition, further development & continuous optimization of the deployment processes as well as the definition of the CI/CD pipeline for the Scrum teams
What you’ll Bring:
Several years of experience as Salesforce Solution and Technical Architect with Multiple CRM Implementations, Vlocity/Omni Studio Knowledge is great added advantage Strong experience with Salesforce products offerings like Lightning Console, Lightning flws Live Agent, Social Studio, Omni Studio,Digital Engagement, Omni-Channel, Einstein Bots, Knowledge Base, Experience Cloud, Console Productivity Enhancements Extensive Knowledge in Apex, Flows, Lightning Web Components, Lightning Design System, JavaScript frameworks, HTML, Data Migration, Single sign-on Lead troubleshooting of any production issues related to applications including but not limited to Salesforce, micro-services, and infrastructure/DevOps Recommends systems solutions by comparing advantages and disadvantages of custom development and purchase alternatives Enforcing sound development practices and ensuring the quality delivery of enterprise solutions Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, environment management, release management, source control, deployment methodologies Understanding of DevOps principles and delivery pipelines, using tools such as Copado, and own CI/CD process using SFDX. Experience with end-to-end implementations, integrations, and enhancement projects and delivering overall solution architectures for CRM applications Experience working in large Salesforce implementations, particularly with multi-million customer records, will be essential You'll be a self-starter, adept at picking up new skills and technologies, and eager to break new ground You'll have excellent communication skills, equally comfortable with crafting
Core Responsibilities
- Collaborates with project stakeholders to identify product and technical requirements. Conducts analysis to determine integration needs.
- Designs new software and web applications, supports applications under development and customizes current applications. Develops software update processes for existing applications. Assists in the roll-out of software releases.
- Trains junior Software Development Engineers on internally developed software applications.
- Oversees the researching, writing and editing of documentation and technical requirements, including software designs, evaluation plans, test results, technical manuals and formal recommendations and reports.
- Keeps current with technological developments within the industry. Monitors and evaluates competitive applications and products. Reviews literature, patents and current practices relevant to the solution of assigned projects.
- Assists with technical leadership throughout the design process and assists in guidance with regards to practices, procedures and techniques. Serves as a guide mentor for Software Development Engineers.
- Assists in tracking and evaluating performance metrics. Ensures team delivers software on time, to specification and within budget.
- Works with Quality Assurance team to determine if applications fit specification and technical requirements. Tests and evaluates systems, subsystems and components.
- Acts as a technical contact and liaison for outside vendors and/or customers.
- Presents and defends architectural, design and technical choices to internal and external audiences.
- Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
- Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
