Development Engineer 4
Job Summary
Responsible for planning and designing new software and web applications. Analyzes, tests and assists with the integration of new applications. Oversees the documentation of all development activity. Trains non-technical personnel. Assists with tracking performance metrics. Integrates knowledge of business and functional priorities. Acts as a key contributor in a complex and crucial environment. May lead teams or projects and shares expertise.Job Description

As the key stakeholder and Eng 4 level engineer, you would
Understand the RDK Software development process and bring in tools to enhance and ease developer experience.
Converts requirements from engineering teams into implementable user stories
Codes Architect software applications to adhere to designs supporting internal business requirements or external customers.
As Engineer 4, the candidate will be responsible for leading the design, development and maintenance of software build systems across the RDK Community
Standardizes the quality assurance procedure for software.
Oversees testing and develops fixes.
Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision.as a self driven individual
Monitor and maintain operational readiness of Jenkins and Gerrit/Github environment including applications hosted in AWS cloud.
Identify opportunities for system enhancements that will deliver enhanced functionality and/or simplify system administration.
Facilitate and develop plans for application changes (including defects fixes, enhancements and/or configuration changes).
Configure and test changes to system including reports, security access, and workflow.
Plan and executePerform/Coordinate configuration changes to the production environment.
Work closely with BA/QA team members to create test plans and ensure that issues are properly identified, fixed, and tested.
