Job Summary
The IS Solutions team is part of Comcast headquarters Finance and Accounting organization and is responsible for delivering best-in-class pricing, packaging, and financial strategies, solutions, and services across all our Comcast Cable lines of business from ideation through billing; with a growth-minded, diverse, and skilled team. The ISS Business Analytics organization is part of IS Solutions and is responsible for reporting, dashboards, and data analysis in support of the IS Solutions team. This specific role will be involved in reporting and metrics with a focus on Xfinity Mobile billing operations. This will include reporting from Amdocs data as well as other XM operational tools (i.e. IOP). Responsible for analyzing and evaluating operational performance metrics and resources. Maps metrics against the Company's operational plans and tactical/strategic goals to ensure alignment and focus. Partners with stakeholders to create reporting and analysis to evaluate operational initiatives and drive operational efficiencies. Develops and maintains standard reporting measures, quantitative explanation of relevant data and ongoing analysis of alternatives and solutions. Quantitatively evaluates and recommends action plans, based on all operational reporting and analysis, in order to enhance the customer experience and drive operational efficiencies.Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Identifies issues, analyzes available data and information and recommends changes to management.
- Provides analysis prior to and following any recommended changes.
- Ensures accuracy of data through partnerships with team members. Provides day-to-day validation and spot checks.
- Works with stakeholders to understand data, reporting, and analysis needed; partners with team members to deliver to stakeholder requirements.
- Supports efforts to maintain accurate master data. Extracts data and provides analysis of master and transactional data.
- Provides user feedback to management and helps influence future systems enhancements.
- Provides weekly, monthly and annual reports. Provides special reports and analyses to support the business as necessary.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure data integrity.
- Creates and maintains multiple operational reporting tools.
- Provides analytical support of actual results against budget and feasibility of proposed business strategies.
- Consolidates data reports and delivers to help drive data-based strategic decision making.
- May create and maintain compliance reports that identify discrepancies within the Company's billing systems.
- May prepare reports to be used by other departments to correct billing issues.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
- Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.

Skills/Experience:
Required
- Advanced SQL Knowledge
- Tableau experience
- Amdocs data table familiarity
- Analytical mindset
- Process Improvement experience
- Excellent critical thinking and problem solving skills
- Ability to explain complex concepts in simplified ways
- Strong communication skills

Education
Bachelor's Degree
While possessing the stated degree is preferred, Comcast also may consider applicants who hold some combination of coursework and experience, or who have extensive related professional experience.
