Job Summary

You will play a pivotal role in advancing NBCUniversal’s sustainability reporting and analytics capabilities. You will leverage your expertise in data management and analysis to ensure the accuracy and integrity of enterprise sustainability data. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will help drive improvements in data processes, support strategic decision-making, and enable the team to deliver high-quality insights that inform and accelerate our sustainability initiatives.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities

  • Validate and QA sustainability data on regular cadence (bi-weekly / weekly)

  • Manage ongoing processes such as checking data integration errors, transforming manual data, and refreshing data insights dashboards

  • Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement in sustainability data and reporting processes.

  • Proactively identify and resolve data issues, ensuring high standards of data quality and integrity

  • Support data entry, documentation, and process automation efforts.

  • Communicate findings and recommendations to NBCU Sustainability Data team and escalating data issues or findings in a timely manner

  • Participate in ad hoc analysis, special projects, and continuous improvement initiatives related to sustainability data.

  • Maintain documentation and standards for data management in Salesforce Net Zero Cloud and other platforms.

  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using Excel, Power BI, Tableau, and Salesforce Net Zero Cloud.

Key requirements and experience include:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Environmental Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.

  • 5+ years of experience in data analysis, reporting, or sustainability, preferably in a large enterprise or technology/media company.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables).

  • Strong experience with data entry, management, and validation.

  • Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive in identifying and resolving issues.

  • Comfortable using Microsoft Teams and SharePoint for collaboration.

  • Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and escalation management skills.

  • Strong English verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.

  • Interest in sustainability and supporting enterprise sustainability initiatives.

  • Experience working in a global delivery model and matrix organization.

  • Ability to support Eastern Standard Time Zone (USA) meetings/calls as needed.

Preferred Skills & Characteristics

  • Familiarity with Salesforce (preferably Agentforce Net Zero) or Salesforce data management

  • Experience with Power Query (Excel and/or Power BI).

  • Comfort using Tableau or Power BI for data review and visualization.

  • Experience with SQL or SOQL for querying databases.

  • Team player with a collaborative mindset.

  • Ad hoc reporting and special projects required
