Analyst 2 - Business Information Systems
Job Summary
The ISS CX organization in Comcast is responsible for the development and administration of all applications used in the creation of Residential, SMB (Small to Medium Business), and Mid-Market Billing Statements within Comcast. We ensure the timely and accurate delivery of all legal/regulatory billing related messaging and all other notifications required in support of the business and are responsible for daily audit, validation, and approval of all bill runs. This specific role will be involved in triaging issues identified by our automated daily validation processes, evaluating and helping improve those processes, assisting individuals across the business with statement related requests, and performing manual validation of work being done in our ISS CX applications to ensure the highest level of quality and ensure delivery within SLAs.Job Description
Core Responsibilities:
·Analyzes and revises existing system logic difficulties and documentation, as necessary.
·Prepares detailed specifications from which programs will be written.
·Includes analysis of business and user needs, documentation of requirements and translation into proper system requirement specifications.
·Identifies and assesses probable interactions of related computer systems and predicts impact of a change in assigned system.
·Functions as a liaison between the client, community and internal software development teams to develop system solutions to processing systems or business problems.
·Ensures data quality and integrity across data-specific application implementations.
·Supports the testing team and business users in validating that the programs meet the requirements.
·Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
·Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.

Skills/Experience:
Required:
·Moderate SQL Knowledge
·Analytical mindset
·Process Improvement experience
·Excellent problem solving
·Ability to explain complex concepts in simplified ways
·Strong communication skills
Preferred:
·CSG data table familiarity
·CSG bill/discount code familiarity
·ACSR familiarity
·BriteBill Statement Application familiarity
·Advanced SQL Knowledge
·BriteBill Application Experience
·Prior Experience with end-to-end testing of software releases
·AMDOCS CES Familiarity

Bachelor's Degree
While possessing the stated degree is preferred, Comcast also may consider applicants who hold some combination of coursework and experience, or who have extensive related professional experience.
