Job Summary

This Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) role supports the Technical Operations teams across the New England region. The position requires in-office or field presence Monday through Thursday, with remote work on Fridays and flexibility as needed. Weekly travel is expected at 25–30%. As the HR Manager, you’ll serve as a strategic advisor to leadership while advocating for employees and promoting Comcast’s inclusive culture. Your focus will be on aligning talent with business needs—ensuring the right people are in the right roles with the right skills, both now and in the future. You’ll play a key role in workforce planning, talent development, and organizational change, using data and storytelling to connect human capital strategies with business outcomes. The role requires strong interpersonal skills, the ability to navigate difficult conversations, and a commitment to fostering an inclusive environment. Reporting to the Senior Director of HR and working closely with Technical Operations leadership, you’ll help shape and implement people strategies. You’ll collaborate with Centers of Expertise to manage recruitment, employee engagement, compliance, compensation, benefits, and employee relations. Proficiency in using workforce analytics and AI tools to enhance decision-making and work processes is essential. You’ll also provide expert guidance to frontline employees as needed.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities

  • Support strategic execution to enhance the employee experience and employee engagement in the New England Region and the functional areas this role will support.
  • Analyze employee data including survey results, Employee Advisory Services (EAS) reporting, churn and organizational health assessments to set engagement strategy & identify mitigation opportunities.
  • Conducts employee focus group sessions, employees’ surveys, and interviews to obtain employee feedback. Identifies employee concerns and monitors overall employee satisfaction. Partners with leadership and employees to develop and implement action plans.
  • Ensures a positive and respectful work environment through positive reinforcement, modeling desired behavior, providing adequate work tools, and administering policies fairly and consistently.
  • Partners with HR and business leaders to implement proactive and positive employee and labor relations strategies and initiatives that drive business objectives
  • Counsels, orientates, and trains managers and supervisors on the interpretation and administration of Human Resources policies. Administers Human Resources policies and procedures as they pertain to all employees
  • Partners with the business on proactive, supportive measures to develop and retain our employees.
  • Oversees and partners on employee relations issues. Assists with employee counseling, discipline and grievance handling.
  • Ensures compliance with state, local and federal guidelines and policies to protect the business and its employees.
  • Administers compensation programs and assists in job analysis, job evaluation and performance management to ensure compliance with division guidelines.
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be willing to travel to operational work locations, work outside of normal business hours, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
