This program immerses students into the daily operation of a contemporary media and technology company while working side-by-side with Comcast’s top innovators. The student becomes an integral part of the Comcast team working on creative, innovative, and thought-provoking projects within various business units.

Comcast Business’s Operations organization is the engine that drives Comcast Business’s ability to consistently produce revenue growth deliver a high-quality customer experience to each of or business customers.  Our focus on process effectiveness and innovation positions us to continually push the envelope of operational execution and keep us ahead of our competition.

The Business Process Effectiveness team affectionately call BPE is the epicenter of that constant innovation.  We are the team that through curiosity and challenging the process finds ways to optimize the how we work together and with our customers.  We manage process improvement efforts that range from sweeping process redesign all the way down to incremental process optimization efforts.  We do this work with and eye for how People Process and Technology work together to deliver results.

Role Description

Are you passionate about process improvement?  Do you have a curious spirit?  Have you ever asked why something works a certain way?  Have you ever thought, “there has got to be a better way” and then try to solve it? 

As an Comcast Business Intern on the Business Process Effectiveness team, you will work on a mission critical project that will improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our operation.  As a part of you project you will identify an operational issue, map the process, recommend a solution and provide an analysis of the before and after effectiveness of your process improvement.  

What are some interesting problems the student will work on?

In your role, you will evaluate ways to expedite revenue recognition, reduce expense, and improve both the customer and our employees experience.  You will have the ability to work horizontally across the CB business and learn multiple business units.

Where can this student make an impact?

You will be working with the best and brightest minds in Comcast Business while we route out bad process and create the next generation of organizational growth.  Success in this role is characterized by a higher speed to revenue, with fewer cost generating escalations.

Minimum Qualifications and Eligibility Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree from a United States-based college or university
  • Rising Junior or Rising Senior only (must have a graduation date between Winter 2025- Spring 2027)
  • Returning to degree-program (for at least a semester) after the completion of the summer internship (meaning, student must be returning to school for Fall 2025 semester before graduating)
  • Available to work 40 hours per week over the course of the summer program- June 2 through August 15, 2025
  • Authorized to work in the United States with no current or future sponsorship needs
  • Available to report in-person to the work location on the job posting (unless virtual offering)

Salary:

Base Pay: $22.00
