Organization & Team Overview

Are you a bold, creative thinker with a pulse on campus culture? Do you thrive on turning ideas into action and love the energy of back-to-school season? We’re looking for a Marketing Intern to help us launch an unforgettable Fall Rush Campaign targeting university students as they return to campus. 

Role Description

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead the Charge: Help conceptualize and execute a high-impact campaign that speaks directly to college students. We want your fresh perspective and bold ideas!
  • Get Creative: Brainstorm and pitch unique marketing concepts—from guerrilla marketing stunts to viral social content—that resonate with Gen Z.
  • Plan & Activate Events: Collaborate on pop-up experiences, campus activations, and student-led events that drive buzz and engagement.
  • Competitive Marketing: Dive into competitor analysis and help us stand out with smart, edgy tactics that cut through the noise.
  • Work Cross-Functionally: Partner with teams across design, digital, product, and sales to bring your ideas to life and learn how a campaign comes together from all angles.

What are some interesting problems the student will work on?

In this role you will help us to identify how to authentically connect with students across different universities and decide what kind of on-campus event would make students stop, engage, and remember us.

Where can this student make an impact?

Students know what resonates with their peers. Your insights can shape messaging tone, and visuals and events that feel authentic and relevant, helping the campaign avoid generic or out-of-touch content.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Assist in developing and executing the Fall Rush Campaign targeting university students returning to campus.
  • Contribute creative ideas and student insights to shape campaign messaging, visuals, and engagement strategies.
  • Support the planning and execution of on-campus events, pop-ups, and activations that drive student interaction.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, digital, product, and sales to ensure campaign consistency.
  • Conduct competitive research to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for differentiation.
  • Assist in identifying and coordinating with student influencers and brand ambassadors.
  • Monitor campaign performance and gather real-time feedback to optimize strategies and tactics.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute to weekly campaign updates and reporting.
  • Take ownership of specific campaign components and present ideas to the broader marketing team.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

  • Knowledge of current trends
  • Outgoing ability to talk to potential customers
  • Willingness and ability to travel as needed (within 50 mile radius)
  • Preferred Majors: Marketing, Communications

Minimum Qualifications and Eligibility Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree from a United States-based college or university
  • Rising Junior only (must have a graduation date between Winter 2027 - Spring 2028)
  • Returning to degree-program (for at least a semester) after the completion of the summer internship (meaning, student must be returning to school for Fall 2026 semester before graduating)
  • Available to work 40 hours per week over the course of the summer program- June 1 through August 14, 2026
  • Authorized to work in the United States with no current or future sponsorship needs
  • Available to report in-person to the work location on the job posting (unless virtual offering)
