Responsible for collecting, processing, analyzing and reporting data related to Engineering Operations. Produces complex, high-priority recurring and ad-hoc reports with the purpose of measuring progress towards goals, measuring performance against objectives and identifying improvement opportunities. Consults directly with internal and external customers. Has in-depth experience, knowledge and skills in own discipline. Usually determines own work priorities. Overview of the Role:
The Engineering Analyst plays a critical role in supporting X-Labs Engineering Operations by collecting, processing, and analyzing complex data from multiple sources. This role transforms raw data into actionable insights and performance metrics that inform strategic decisions and drive operational excellence. The Analyst collaborates with cross-functional teams—including engineering, product, and operations—and closely engages with internal analytics leaders to ensure data alignment and execution consistency.

Key Responsibilities:

- Document & Improve Processes: Capture current workflows and recommend improvements for greater efficiency.
- Turn Ambiguity into Action: Translate complex needs into clear roadmaps and communicate insights through compelling narratives and visualizations using data.
- Own Outcomes: Lead with a business mindset, challenge assumptions, and drive results with accountability.
- Leverage Data for Insight: Use data to develop KPIs, uncover insights, and apply emerging analytics trends to solve business challenges.
- Drive Cross-Functional Excellence: Collaborate across teams, ensure compliance, and support continuous improvement through data-driven decisions.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
- Advanced Data Analysis & Visualization: Proven experience in data analysis within engineering or technical environments, using tools like Tableau, Alteryx, Jira, and Smartsheet to drive insights and benchmark against industry best practices.
- Strategic Storytelling with Data: Demonstrated ability to translate complex data into compelling narratives that influence decision-making and support process improvements in dynamic organizational settings.
- Technical Precision & Problem Solving: Strong technical acumen with meticulous attention to detail and a track record of sound judgment in independent work.
- Project & Priority Management: Skilled at managing multiple priorities in fast-paced, collaborative environments while maintaining high-quality outcomes.
- Stakeholder Engagement & Communication: Excellent interpersonal and consulting skills, with the ability to effectively engage both internal teams and external partners.
- Change Leadership: Experience identifying and implementing process changes through data-driven insights, fostering innovation and continuous improvement.

Salary:
Pay Range: This job can be performed in New Jersey with a Pay Range of $86,004.44 - $129,006.66
Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay within this range, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience. The application window is 30 days from the date job is posted, unless the number of applicants requires it to close sooner or later.
Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Comcast provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work. Most sales positions are eligible for a Commission under the terms of an applicable plan, while most non-sales positions are eligible for a Bonus.
