Job Summary

The Marketplace Activation Manager is responsible for providing business development and incremental revenue streams to publishers using FreeWheel’s technology by building relationships with publisher and buy-side partners (Agencies, Trading desks, DSPs, SSPs and other buying partners) and understanding their selling and buying strategies, inventory needs, advertisers portfolio and goals/KPIs expected from video publishers.

Core Responsibilities:

Customer Facing Inventory Promotion

  • Promote inventory and key publishers available on FreeWheel platforms to DSPs, agencies, trading desks, and any other buying partner including Comcast Advertising (formerly AudienceXpress).

  • Run strategic business reviews with key buyers to identify growth opportunities and address issues.

Build relationships with buyers and gather business intel

  • Build relationships with the buy side to understand their needs from SSP platforms in terms of inventory and supply KPIs.

  • Get feedback on DSP usage and strengths/weaknesses identified on FreeWheel platforms and available inventory.

  • Contribute to the buy side account strategy and spend growth to drive expansion opportunities.

Cooperate with Supply team to drive opportunities

  • Work with the Inventory Monetization specialists and Publisher Account team to help identify revenue opportunities.

  • Analyse and identify Freewheel supply offering weaknesses at the inventory level from the feedback given by the buy side.

Service/Support

  • To work Publisher Managers to provide more customized solutions to buyers and adapt publisher offerings through FreeWheel platforms.

  • Provide customized solutions to deliver campaigns by using Comcast Advertising Media Solutions and FreeWheel’s affiliates support.

About You:

  • More than 3 years of professional experience in programmatic buying or selling, software sales and/or media sales including managing renewals and upsells.

  • Experience building and managing relationships with agencies, trading desks, publishers and programmatic platforms.

  • Strong understanding of advertising technology, including SSP, DSP, media, marketer, and agency business models.

  • Fast learner with the ability to communicate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical contacts.

  • Passion for customer success and track record of happy, growing customers

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple accounts with various sizes and priority levels.

  • English and French required.

Education

Bachelor's Degree

While possessing the stated degree is preferred, Comcast also may consider applicants who hold some combination of coursework and experience, or who have extensive related professional experience.
