VP, Sales & Marketing - California Region
Job Summary
Comcast is seeking an inspirational and high-performing Vice President to lead the California Region’s Sales & Marketing strategy and sales channel development to drive profitable subscriber and revenue growth. The Vice President is responsible for managing and influencing local marketing and sales channel strategy, business development, and tactics in alignment and coordination with division and corporate-led product strategy, marketing strategy and complimentary sales channels. The Vice President will champion the adoption of advanced technologies, including AI-powered tools such as Microsoft Copilot, to enhance productivity, streamline operations, and drive data-informed decision-making across sales and marketing functions.Job Description
Core Responsibilities:
Works with regional, divisional and corporate counterparts on the development, coordination and implementation of marketing and sales plans and strategies to achieve subscriber and revenue growth goals.
Closely tracks local competitor product, marketing, and sales strategies. Identifies threats and opportunities and develops plans to retain and grow market share.
Coordinates closely with supporting regional functions, including market development, finance, fulfillment, construction, and engineering, to ensure alignment of focus and resources to achieve regional growth, revenue, and profitability objectives.
Develops and executes sales strategies for locally controlled sales channels, including company-owned stores, service centers, and third-party retail stores.
Develops strategies for improving sales channel effectiveness and efficiency and ensures that sales efforts maximize return on assets while achieving strategic goals.
Works closely with HR, Talent Acquisition and ULearn to hire, train, develop and retain necessary personnel to achieve business goals.
Analyzes subscriber activity to understand drivers of growth and customer churn, improves forecasting of future growth, and develops strategies to address areas of weakness or opportunity.
Creates and executes business strategies to identify new residential developments and market share expansion opportunities. Coordinates with other functional departments, including finance, engineering, Comcast Business, and market development to analyze and forecast return on investment potential.

Professional Experience & Qualifications:
Marketing and selling experience in a highly competitive environment, and creative ability to find ways to compete.
Experience in managing multiple functions.
Advanced leadership experience managing multiple sales organizations, including large team leadership experience.
Experience working and influencing in matrixed organizations, with elevated collaboration skills at the Division and HQ levels.
Proven strategic leadership.
P&L Experience.
Service industry and operations management experience from telecommunications or cable industries.
Financial and business acumen, with proven track record of delivering business results.
Must live, or be willing to relocate to, the California Region.
Education Level:
Bachelor's Degree (Required); Advanced Degree (Preferred)

Salary:
Primary Location Pay Range: $333,410.00 - $500,115.00
Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay within this range, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience. The application window is 30 days from the date job is posted, unless the number of applicants requires it to close sooner or later.
Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Comcast provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work. Most sales positions are eligible for a Commission under the terms of an applicable plan, while most non-sales positions are eligible for a Bonus.
