This program immerses students into the daily operation of a contemporary media and technology company while working side-by-side with Comcast’s top innovators. The student becomes an integral part of the Comcast team working on creative, innovative, and thought-provoking projects within various business units.
Organization & Team Overview
California Comcast Business is an organization comprised of 285 employees working full time to sell and deliver business to business customers premier business solutions. The channels of the business market are small business, mid-market enterprise, and strategic. We have support groups such as sales engineers, sales operations, marketing and project management to support the nearly $900M in annual revenue. Our teams which extend to West Division and Enterprise, are continually developing and delivering products and internal process that will transform the customer experience and the employee experience.
Role Description

As an intern you have a tremendous opportunity to learn business operations at a company and region that drives relentless and relevant growth for our customers!
Some interesting problems the student may work on include developing a new sales order entry system, testing and contributing to the new tool roll out and training of the sales force.
Maybe you will lend a hand on sales data analysis and drive insights on areas of opportunity to improve the user experience reading the analytics and or delving into the analytics and drive insights in sales gaps we can begin to tackle.
You can make an impact by wearing your growth mindset each day and bring your collaboration and thought for improved business operations each day. Bringing your curiosity, ask questions, seek to understand what is and what could be due to your contributions. Your contributions will play a leading part in future processes that may enable our sales teams to turn around the sales process faster and better with improved systems they are thoroughly trained on.
Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Manages projects, with direct supervision, to ensure on-time completion according to specifications and within budgeted costs.
- Uses formal processes and tools to manage resources, budgets, risks and changes.
Identifies project scope and objectives. Manages a cross-functional team including third party vendors and other resources; coordinates activities to achieve goals.
- Plans and directs schedule and budget.
- Maintains communication with stakeholders. Provides status reports to Project Managers, vendors, stakeholders and resources.
- Addresses problems through risk management and contingency planning and presents solutions and/or options to executive management.
- Regular, consistent and punctual attendance.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

- Project Management, Organization, Excel (proficient) Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, Collaboration, Written and oral Communication
- Preferred Majors: Business, Operational Effectiveness, Project Management
Minimum Qualifications and Eligibility Requirements
- A Junior currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree from a United States-based college or university
- Rising Junior only (must have a graduation date between Winter 2026 - Spring 2027)
- Returning to degree-program (for at least a semester) after the completion of the summer internship (meaning, student must be returning to school for Fall 2025 semester before graduating)
- Available to work 40 hours per week over the course of the summer program- June 2 through August 15, 2025. This includes having a car and being in the Livermore office 4 days a week and work from home 1 day a week.
- Authorized to work in the United States with no current or future sponsorship needs
- Available to report in-person to the work location on the job posting (unless virtual offering)

Salary:
Base Pay: $26.00
