Request for Proposal (RFP) Manager
Job Summary
The RFP Manager plays a critical role in driving business growth by managing the proposal process for Requests for Proposals (RFPs). This position requires strong project management skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative approach to ensure proposals are compelling, compliant, and delivered on time. Responsible for managing the pipeline and forecast for Product Sales Support & Analysis. Reports procedures, resolves operational issues and ensures personnel receive required information and documentation to perform their tasks efficiently. Oversees the communication flow between functional groups regarding sales forecast, reports and analysis on client activity.Job Description
Core Responsibilities
- Proposal Development: Lead the creation of high-quality proposals that align with client requirements and company standards.
- Project Management: Oversee proposal timelines and coordinate with various departments to gather necessary information.
- Collaboration: Work closely with sales, marketing, and subject matter experts to ensure content accuracy and relevance.
- Content Management: Maintain a repository of templates and standard language to streamline the proposal process.
- Analysis and Improvement: Review win-loss data to identify areas for improvement in proposal strategies and content.
- Creates and maintains client master data including margin analysis, prepared sales measurements and reports, processed transactions, returns and exchanges according to Company guidelines.
- Provides overall direction of the Product Sales Support & Analysis team to drive lead generation, sales force database management, sales reporting and production/control of presentations and proposals.
- Interfaces with appropriate internal groups (i.e., Accounting, Finance, Sales, Operations, IT and Legal Affairs) to ensure proper analysis of tracking and reporting.
- Maintains sales forecasts and analysis for management reports.
- Maintains a high level of technical expertise and sales proficiency to meet the reporting needs on client activity.
- Generates daily activity reports, reporting and trends.
- Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
- Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field preferred
- 3-5 years of experience in proposal management or a related area.
- Strong project management skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Familiarity with proposal management software and tools.

Salary:
Primary Location Pay Range: $108,562.08 - $162,843.12
