  • Does Comcast have a military recruitment team?
Yes – at Comcast NBCUniversal, we consider every member of our Talent Acquisition team a military recruiter. We’ve made a serious commitment to hiring Military Veterans, National Guard, Reserve Members and Military Spouses. We also have a dedicated team of Military Veterans who manage our Veteran hiring programs.
  • Does Comcast NBCUniversal attend career fairs and events for service members?
Yes. Comcast NBCUniversal is partnered with the US Chamber of Commerce, Hiring Our Heroes (HOH) program, and attends multiple hiring events throughout the year. We also partner with multiple Veteran Service Organizations, the Department of Labor, the Veterans Administration, Colleges and Universities and participate in their hiring events for Veterans.
  • I want to work for Comcast NBCUniversal once I leave the military in 12 to 18 months. When should I contact you?
The best time to start planning your transition is when you have decided to separate from the military. There are a few programs that we have to assist in your process.

We developed a certification and internship program with the Society of Cable Telecommunications Engineers (SCTE) and Georgia Tech’s Veteran Education Training and Transition Program (VET2) at Fort Gordon, GA, allowing transitioning military personnel to gain certifications and experience before they leave active duty. In addition, we developed a fellowship program with U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation and Fort Carson, CO to provide internships for Non-Commissioned Officers (NCOs) and Junior Military Officers to assist with career transition. The Company is also a member of Veteran Jobs Mission (formerly 100,000 Jobs Mission) Advisory board and Joining Forces.
  • If I work at Comcast NBCUniversal and my spouse gets orders to move, can I keep my job in our new duty station?
We know the value that Military Spouses bring to Comcast NBCUniversal and are doing our part to help grow their careers. If you must move for a military reason, such as a Permanent Change of Station or extended deployment, we will either work to find you a place within Comcast NBCUniversal, reach out to our partners if your next location is outside of Comcast NBCUniversal’s footprint, or provide transition assistance.
  • I started my career In the military but don’t have a college degree. Are there career opportunities at Comcast NBCUniversal for me?
Yes. Not every position requires a college degree. We recognize that being a service member you offer a wealth of real-life experience with a wide range of skills and training. We have multiple opportunities that do not require a college degree.
  • What job areas are most applicable to my military service?
We encourage members of the military and active reservists to apply for any position that matches their skill and experience level. There are numerous career fields to inquire about. These include but are not limited to Technical services, Customer Service, Sales, Installation, Project/Program Management ,and many others. We strive to review every applicant on a case by case basis to determine the best fit for both the candidate and our company. We are not only committed to hiring Military Veterans but we want to retain you as well. We want to make sure that we get the right fit for you when you join our team.
  • Can my military experience apply to a corporate leadership role?
